What is WMS (Warehouse Management System)?

Modula WMS — is warehouse management software created and developed by Modula to control all operations within vertical warehouses. Essentially, it is the “brain” of the warehouse, transforming a simple automated storage system into an intelligent structure capable of managing complex information regarding access, picking movements, item locations, and inventory.

With Modula WMS, you can track absolutely everything happening inside the warehouse. It is not just about product traceability: at any moment, you can check where specific items are located, understand their movement frequency, and efficiently manage associated data such as:

• Batch and serial numbers;

• Production and expiry dates;

• Product maturity level.

Using Modula WMS software, you can identify which operator accessed a specific pallet, manage the partitioning of pallets into cells (slotting), and monitor occupied space and warehouse fill rates.
