Lantek MES Inventory

Lantek MES Inventory is a management solution that gives you a real-time view of all key information on stock quantities and stock valuation for each warehouse.

Warehouse management

Lantek MES Inventory provides up-to-date information on all items in the products module: sheet metal, remnants, profiles, parts, purchased products, finished goods and much more.
Stock management, like material resource management, is specific to each product type.
Usable sheet and profile remnants are entered into the warehouse database after nesting is calculated in the technical office or after inspection on the shop floor.

Cost management

Once a costing method has been chosen (FIFO, LIFO or average), Lantek MES Inventory automatically updates the actual cost of products every time a user makes a stock movement from any Lantek Integra module. This keeps the cost of each stocked product and the total stock value up to date.

Traceability management

Lantek MES Inventory manages traceability and serial or batch numbers for all goods received. The system can generate and assign serial or batch numbers when a product is received. It can also attach references and barcodes to received items and link this documentation to any warehouse receipt or issue.

Stock and reservation management

Efficient management of materials and products requires up-to-date stock control at all times. Lantek MES Inventory shows not only the quantity in stock but also its status: available, reserved, on order or delivered.
For each material reservation, the system shows its origin and reason: sales order, workshop, production orders and so on. Finally, the system lets you create reservation tags to show whether an item is reserved.

Receipts and shipments management

Lantek MES Inventory manages all receipts, both completed and pending. The system includes dedicated views for managing received and expected orders or receipts. It also offers equivalent full shipment management, with dedicated views for order management.

Barcode reader

Lantek MES Inventory is fully integrated with the Lantek MES Capture barcode reading solution. This lets you record stock and product movements, transfers, adjustments and stock or product searches using barcode terminals.

Multi-warehouse management

Lantek MES Inventory lets you control several warehouses at once, giving timely and accurate information on the quantity stored in each warehouse and the total across all warehouses. For optimal product distribution and proper control, warehouses can also be divided into different physical locations. Users can assign a warehouse to each item according to its characteristics.

Compatibility with other modules

Lantek MES Inventory is fully integrated with the other Lantek Integra management modules. Together they form an efficient system that manages real stock and every other aspect of the company's requirements, such as sales orders, production orders, CAD/CAM jobs and more. The system is also linked to Lantek CAD/CAM software and manages the quantities and allocation of sheet and profile remnants generated by preliminary work in the technical office.

History and analysis

Lantek MES Inventory can be used as a powerful analysis tool, as it gives the inventory manager the following information: warehouse movement history, stocktakes carried out between specific dates, generated receipts and documents, economic valuation of stock and much more. Filters give quick and easy access to different invoice classifications.
